Sorry to disappoint, but, no, this blog isn’t a continuance of “The Monday Guide to Winning,” or even my thoughts on romantic relationships and how love influences our lives. In fact, I have yet to stick to a single word I have written in previous blogs about future blogs where I would go into more detail or continue on a subject matter. Here is the thing… Let me tell you a little about me All my life I have been an above average writer. I never truly excelled in school when it came to writing, yet never felt I struggled. Once I got into college I had two writing professors that really are the ones to thank for my writing style… Yeah, fuck those classes! They hated how I wrote. I write in phrases, often choppy to read and definitely not abided in any sort of grammatical rules. My writing is simply a direct translation as to what is flowing at that moment in my mind. I don’t try to slow it down, I just flow. I trust in myself. This style of writing is definitely not meant to be in an educational setting. This is real talk. With that, I am also a very emotional writer. I often find it very difficult to revisit ideas that I spoke or wrote about in the past because I can’t seem to find the same feeling I had when I first wrote it. I’m a rant writer. When an idea comes to mind I feel like a floodgate of information is provided and I have a short period of time to express these thoughts and ideas before I lose them. On top of all that, I will be honest and say I am scared of committing to delivering steady blog content. I'm new to this writing game and it's a bit out of my comfort zone. All of my content are my original ideas that have been influenced by years of mentoring, experience, and personal development. Often, what I write about topics that really make sense and hit home for as little as a few hours of clarity. This is why I find it difficult to go back and add more… I feel like I am forcing it and that’s not how I roll, peeps. In fact, I roll from within, and I want to always provide the most transparent, authentic content as possible. You will definitely not agree with everything I say or post, and I encourage that! I speak solely from the shoes I have had the pleasure to walk in for the last 24 years. <— How puny was that shit? Who said I can’t write :) Okay, no more off topic rants, Josh. You can’t just start writing off the top of your head and say whatever you want in the middle of an idea, especially in third person… *Okay, I’m back. This blog is powered by The Edge, boldly provided by Fueled Supplements of course ;) Hopefully they give me a sponsorship… Anyway! To breakthrough from this pattern I have found the solution! And I want you to join me the next 30 days in assisting me to breakthrough. Since I am a rant writer, I am going to let myself rant. Yes! Once per day perhaps! I am committing to one blog post every day for the next 30 days! Yes! The blog might be posted at 7am or 11:59 pm and be either one word or one book worth of content but this is my commitment! One blog per day for 30 days… That’s a lot to rant about! Can you do me a huge favor though? Yes!? Please comment or direct message what you would like me to speak my opinion on. Also, if there’s something you’re on the fence about that scares you a little, commit to doing it every day for the next 30 days with me and be sure to reach out and let me know what you are committing to! Thank you for having patience with me, I hope I can inspire, motivate, and make you laugh because the most important thing in life is to have fun. Love you guys.
